We're looking for a Senior Insurance Claims Handler

As a Senior Insurance Claims Handler, you are responsible for delivering an outstanding level of service. Proactively managing claims? Advising clients quickly and efficiently? No problem. You effortlessly switch between a wide variety of cases and have an excellent understanding of insurance products and coverage.

Your knowledge and experience also make you a valuable mentor for junior colleagues. You enjoy sharing your expertise and helping junior claims handlers develop their skills.

As an experienced insurance professional, you know exactly how to handle claims efficiently, accurately, and with a solution-oriented mindset.

Your strengths:

• You have at least (x) years of experience in claims handling with an insurance broker.
• You work independently, take initiative, and have a strong sense of responsibility.
• You are flexible and adapt easily to changing priorities and schedules.
• Customer service comes naturally to you. Your positive and helpful attitude is the foundation of strong client relationships.
• Fluency in both Dutch and French is considered a major asset.

What does a typical day look like?

• Theft Claims You appoint experts to assess losses and damages, ranging from vehicles to valuable collections and works of art.
• Natural Disaster Claims You determine liability, investigate causes and circumstances, and ensure every case is handled thoroughly and professionally.
• Fire Claims You review policy coverages and guarantees. Assessing damages and gathering evidence are all part of your daily responsibilities.
• Workplace and Traffic Accidents You prepare compensation proposals and manage claims from initial notification through to final settlement.
